High Hurlands Nursing Home is a service providing care and support for up to 22 people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The home is owned and operated by High Hurlands Homes Partnership.

The purpose of the home is to offer the highest standard of care resulting in best quality of life for each of the service users.  The emphasis is on service user’s individual lifestyle needs.

The home provides social inclusion within the local community to enhance individual personal development.

The aims of High Hurlands Homes are to provide:-

–          a loving and secure home for service users

–          a homely and caring environment

–          a Home that will meet positively each service  users’ individual needs

–          a Home where service users enjoy companionship both from those employed to care for them and from people within the community, and where the conflicting emotional factors at work in group living are understood and resolved with tact and sensitivity

–          a Home in which a satisfying community involvement is fostered and maintained

–          a Home that is rich in opportunities for social, educational and spiritual development
