I qualified as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse in 1981 and have continued working in this speciality all my working life.
I have worked in residential homes, in the community, at a College and as a Specialist School Nurse.
I started work at High Hurlands in October 2014 and have welcomed the return to doing hands on care in a residential setting.
I work part time at High Hurlands leading the night shift 3 nights a fortnight. I work one day shift each week when I am responsible for chairing reviews, doing staff supervisions and other duties.
